The Professional Services Leadership Initiative (PSLI)

The Center for Excellence in Service at the Smith School of Business (University of Maryland) and Expertise Marketing LLC are collaborating again this fall to offer Cohort Three of a unique Professional Services Leadership Initiative (PSLI) executive development program for high-performance marketers and managers. Our program is targeted to globally prominent professional and B2B companies that demonstrate a notable commitment to pursuing marketplace excellence. The PSLI is unique in its approach, allowing non-competing companies to exchange best practices.

The 2016-17 PSLI cohort can accommodate up to 30 participants from up to six non-competing companies who would each send up to five people. It is set to begin in October 2016 and conclude in January 2017.

This program emphasizes building skills that help marketers and managers:

  • Address the unique challenges and opportunities of marketing in the professional services business environment,
  • Collaborate with their other internal colleagues to deliver optimal marketing results,
  • Understand their company’s business imperatives as it seeks to increase global market share with their clients, and
  • Improve their capabilities in problem solving, collaboration, execution, communication, and leadership.
